I suspect yesman knew it was a hoax all along. It was all part of an elaborate plan to get the entire Cellar looking up at the sky simultaneously, while he sat back and laughed and laughed.

In related news, August IS the month for the Perseid meteor shower. Around August 12th is the best time to see hundreds of "falling stars" if you're lucky to get a good view, little light (moon is cooperative this year) and good weather. If you catch one, put it in your pocket. Save it for a rainy day. Or send it to me. I could use some stars in my life.
