Hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July!
I was lucky this year: my friends live where their backyard is right behind where they do the fireworks. We had the best view in town! My friend was smarting off to people who snuck in from the cemetary into his backyard to watch. I was a bit embarrassed, saying "well, it's America, and it's our holiday, and we should all be friends today, right?" I said all this to no avail. Sigh...
