I'll take a look tonight perhaps. If it can't make it through 'til spring, I hope it can at least make it to the weekend when I can get it fixed.

One small drawback to new job: I can't just call and say "hey, my car sucks today, someone come get me."

If an adjacent car can observe the wheel bouncing, then you have no alternative but to fix it ASAP. A bouncing wheel not only wears tires quickly. It causes a significant loss of control, braking abilities, and other bad things that only become obvious when you most need to manuever or stop.

Bouncing wheel may indicate something worse than just a bad shock. Or could be something simple such as a missing bolt holding one shock attached to that wheel.
