				If you had a boat

What would you name it? And why? Merc's is called Rugby Queen, that's pretty cool. feel free to take the fantasy further/brag if you have one..... ;0 We have an inflatable dinghy called HMS Beestmonster. Except it's our real last name. Written on it in Sharpie. With a phone number I think. For when the kids let it get blown to the other side of the lake. If we has a real boat, I think "HMS Besstmonster" would be a really cool name.

We were going to rename our boat "This Way Up" after we had so many problems with it.

I have no idea, but for some reason, whenever the subject of boat naming comes up, I flash back to The Flintstones. Fred and Barney have won or bought or, something, a boat. They can't agree on a name. One says "Nautilus," one says "Sea Queen," and neither will budge. They decide to compromise and take the first three letters of each--Nau-Sea. |

I used to see a nice fishing boat docked in Poulsbo, WA that had a name I liked: "King's Ransom". We had a old boat that never went into the water called Archeopteryx (fun with "Ark" sound at the beginning of the name).

I have a boat. I christened her "Harmony". She suggested this name because of the waves I built into her deck are in harmony with the waves under her hull. The first picture is a detail of the wave design on the stern deck, taken in my basement during construction. The second picture is me landing on the beach, taken during her inaugural cruise. You can see the wave design runs the length of the boat
