10/31/2003: Dangling soldiers and dangling dogs

They look like 12 inch GI Joes. That's the first thing I thought when I saw the picture. Their body poses look like just that, a pose you'd get from a figure, rather than something real. Look at the leg of the guy on the left for a good example. He totally looks action figure. The way his helmet sits on his head at a screwed up angle. The whole works.
