There are religious overtones to any kind of birth control, but in the case I'm just looking at simple economics. Reveral of tubal ligation is extremely expensive, and often unsuccessful, because the eggs can't reliably make it past the scar tissue.
It costs $1-3K to get 'em tied, $6K for a bargain basement drive-thru reversal, $15K for high end untying. Mostly runs around $10K. And you can have more little welfare recipients. My tax dollars at work. I also can't get anyone to explain why any recipient who tests positive for drugs or alcohol continues to receive benefits.
