*grins* I'm pretty sure if you gave him a small pile of gravy bones he'd divulge his password :P

Srsly, Drax, do you want people delving into your personal details? And posting them everywhere? Remember just a few months ago you pissed off someone so much they found out more about you than you than you probably know yourself, but then they decided to let it drop.

If you open an invitation like that, one of the sharp folk around here is going to take it as an invitation to have fun with your ss#. I'm not sure why you assume the members of this board are not as internet savvy as you are, but you do and it could end up being a mistake you regret making. So unless you want open season on your personal details, don't invite it.

And that's the last piece of good advice I'm going to give you.

And anyway, it's Dave.

See, that's why I don't need it. I mean isn't Datalyss anonymous enough. Of course, I'm reasonable sure someone could easily find out things about me if they had my IP address, and knew how to use it, which VampYre obviously did.

It's not about that kind of anonymity, necessarily. It's more not wanting whatever it is to be connected to your identity in here. Without it the people currently using anonymous might find themselves having to shift about through different usernames, just to stay ahead of whatever board-identity crisis they'd engendered this time....oh wait...sorry, no, I'd best not go there :P

I swear I just posted this:

Data, classic thought we were giving you passwords, and that you had tried them all. Reality: you said if we told you your name you would quit worrying about the anon account...which brings to mind Rumpelstiltskin.
