Dirty Dancing. It's more than just dancing -for me it was very instructional about the politics and morality of the era
All the movies I have as must-sees are R rated, though, and some for reasons I agree with. Good Morning Vietnam is an all time favorite. But I my kids aren't ready to deal with people talking about blowjobs while their parents are in the room. I'm pretty sure only one of them is likely to know what one is and they'd die of embarrasment to hear jokes about it while I was there.

![]() So, I met a guy for the first time and everything was AWESOME and somehow the conversation went to movies and he said he didn't think Dirty Dancing was all that bad and I (for dramatic effect) fell to the floor yelling "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" pounding on the floor with my hands. It was funny. But I'm a non-girl in areas like DD and Ghost. And Titanic. That isn't to say it's a bad movie, really. Just...something about it that turned me the wrong way. And that is just one person's humble opinion. ![]() |
