I like the page that I have it linked too - look halfway down, it talks about the genetic code of the blood. It's under the "downsides of banking cord blood". My doctor mentioned that part to me and I looked into it - it was my deciding factor not to.

Hardly anyone banks cord blood. Just a few a year where I work. About the same number that have their heads cryogenically frozen.
