I haven't had black cherry soda in a long time; partly because the only thing I could find was overly sweetened crap. Just lately I went looking for some 'cause I wanted something different. The local grocery store (Jewel) had no black cherry soda at all.
Amazingly, I found a really good black cherry soda in an unlikely place - Walgreens. They have their own line of premium soda made with sugar, not HFCS. Look for the Orchard Black Cherry in the glass bottle.
