Those poor kids. At least at 17 one was old enough to register that it was time to call the cops. She'd do better fully independent, IMHO, pot or no pot.

Cops divide their time between dealing with criminals, dealing with victims, dealing with bureaucracy and dealing with lawyers.

Then there are the car smashes, vomiting drunks, domestic arguments, indignant citizens, the ACLU and people who actually try to kill them.
