View in long terms. Or how really works. After 30 years of GM cars designed by business school graduates, then even bankruptcy happened. Reality takes years to become obvious.

We discussed a crappy Cobalt maybe ten years ago. Some insisted it was a great car despite facts. Where are they now? Reality is indisputable years later.

BTW, we discussed that in 2005. How many openly disputed what is now clearly known? For example: Kill the Messenger - this time the LA Times ? No reason. Criticisms are now obvious nine years later. Even a ‘threatened lawsuit’ was similar to traditional bogus GM denials:

It has come to our attention you’ve been casting aspersions on the General Motors Executives.
Same criticism of Cheney was how long ago? Nobody today can be honest and deny the accuracy of warnings back then. Even recent NSA revelations are directly traceable to him. That is how we are supposed to learn - from history.

In “Mission Accomplished”, so many ignored lessons from ‘deja vue Nam’. Well, when did many finally admit they advocated the massacre of 5000 American servicemen for no useful purpose? I still do not hear, for example, UG types apologizing for their mistakes. Or learning from those mistakes. Some never learn from history.

Two years - that was almost yesterday. Battles with deaths (in the 1970s) were fought over these islands long before I discussed it. Risks should have been obvious even a decade ago.

Of course, we could sue Google to have our mistakes removed. Then what is learned?

Concern for South China Sea conflicts were made long ago when the risks were obvious. Learn from history – or even from mistakes made yesterday (two years ago).
