I thought I'd have a random trek through YouTube and I've found a track played by Eric Clapton that is similar to that which I am trying to identify. It's similar as far as pace and simple structure is concerned. I hope I'm not sending anyone off on a wild goose chase, but there is some similarity to this at least at the beginning. Might be marginally faster.
