Bummer. She was lucky to live a long and happy life, with a great "Mom". It sounds like the perfect end to a good life, with you, and no pain. Of course that doesn't cure your heartache, but reflecting on 15 happy years should help.

So sorry Nirv. I put one of my best buddies to sleep about a year ago and it was terrible. One of the most difficult things I have ever done. My vet even said he could never have done it. The closure of a book. Peace to you.
