Temperatures of 30 degrees and over reported in various parts of the UK. This may be small beer to you guys but we do not have aircon as standard in our homes and it is only to be found in the largest offices, so we just sweat it out ....

It has been up to 80 degrees in my office today (translated that for you, aren't I good?) And that is WITH aircon. Feeble aircon I hasten to add.

I know, I know. Really I do. But I can't bear the heat. I'm happiest in the Winter and reserve the right to whinge in the Summer

Taiwan is up to 36 (thats what, over a hundred?) nowadays.

I stay in my room with the AC on 16.
It only cools it to 20.
That's still too hot for me.

Ibram - bless you, wish you worked in my office, where people have issues with the temp going below 24...! Am happy with up to 20 inside, but 16 outside would suit me fine.

Rkzenrage - Ewwwww. Corn syrup? In this heat?

I'd prefer a cool shower and then hot sex. Oh. Were we playing the innuendo game? (looked for lascivious smilie for about 2 mins then gave up!)

I so totally agree. We in the Netherlands are having about the same weather as you do, it's been around 30 degrees (about 80 for you USA-folk

We're at about the same. It's unseasonably cool here. We should be in the mid to high 90s. I'll bet your humidity's lower ... it's all about the humidity.
