My first album was probably Ronco's I Love Music, a cheesy disco compilation by various artists. Featuring things like the disco Fifth of Beethoven, Neil Diamond's I Write The Songs, and Rubber Band Man. There was even some early Hall and Oates on there too.

Second album was the Star Wars soundtrack, and third album was a Beach Boys Greatest.

Then I was off to a huge Beatles run that lasted a few years.

Winnie the Pooh, featuring such classics as:

Up, Down, and Touch the Ground
I'm Just a Little Black Rain Cloud
Rumbly in my Tumbly

Then I had a few of the Ronco/K-tel type albums. Hey glatt, we got one album sung by 'The Realistics" and I thought it meant the real people who sang the songs. But no.

And of course Looney Tunes, featuring songs such as:

They're Coming To Take Me Away, Ha Ha
Shaving Cream
Transfusion
I Love Onions
MY Boomerang Won't Come Back
The Witch Doctor

Then it was on to Led Zeppelin and Steely Dan.

With a quick break for BCR and anything by Olivia Newton John.

My sister is 8 years older than I so I would sneak into her room to listen to her 45's.

I Think We're Alone Now by Tommy James and the Shondells!

That's really the first I can remember but my sister was a true blue Monkees fan so some of that, too.

also: a song called Tracy, every show tune from every musical from Oklahoma! to Cabaret to the Sting. Cocktails for Two was a favorite. I ADORED the entire soundtrack of The Sound of Music and would pretend I was the various youngsters in the Von Trapp family. I had no notion of Nazi's but knew, instinctively that Liesel's boyfriend was a bad guy.

Favorite TV theme---besides Hawaii Five-O would have to be Lost in Space.

The first record I ever bought myself? The Doors.
