i am always sad knowing that i didn't take clod's advice from the start with the toes, but then i got stuck in a cash flow situation and then i qualified for medicaid but immediately got employment and then waited for insurance to kick in

could have played that better

it's not an accomplishment until it's done.

hindsight is always 20/20.

These things can go either way, and money is always a real concern. We do the best we can do in each situation with the information and conditions we have at the time.

Rub some dirt on it and it will get better? See an expensive doctor ASAP? What to do... What to do...

Like glatt said, hindsight is 20/20. Sometimes jumping into something before you're ready is more damaging after all, because you get discouraged by the lack of initial success and never get back around to making a real go at it. All that matters is here and now, and what you've done so far is impressive, even if it's still only half as impressive as you someday intend it to be.

Sorry for the vaguebook style posting. I know they are annoying.

This big black gay guy was a secretary I used to work with about 15 years ago. Hadn't seen him in ages. But he was very enthusiastic and there is no way I would have hugged him, overweight or not, if he wasn't so self confident and enthusiastic upon seeing me.

The Pro Tip is, and I just read this elsewhere so it's not original, don't announce to your friends and family and dwellars and facebookers that you are starting down some journey. You collect the congratulations now, but you are only due them at the end of the road. It gives you a false sense of accomplishment, yet achieves nothing. Save up those accolades for when you've actually done something.
I concur 100%
