Yeah....but...what you'd lose in weight in terms of percentage of the whole - would be less than what you'd lose in height, in terms of percentage of the whole - so ...effectively you'd be heavier for your height than before the foot chopping.
and you'd probably get a lot less exercise ... so you'd end up heavier in real terms Overall I'm against foot amputation as a weight loss strategy. Just not effective.

Go right for the head amputation. Weighs more than a foot, and the head amputation more than likely improves the environment. For others.
