For what it's worth future-Flint, I am personally a big believer in this:
See the end there? If I am getting this right, that's you when you made this thread, having your "how did I get here" moment. That is human, but it is also something that I have learned you can not take for granted. The dangerous ones are the pure innocent good ones - they will continue to be pure innocent and good no matter how they effect anyone around them. If you are reacting to guilt - not merely shame at how people think of you or regret at social consequences not going your way but actual genuine remorse - then not only are you not a sociopath but your a better person then a hell of a lot of people. |

Well Flint, if could respond to this without sounding like a shit, I'd say there were some things you could have phrased less harshly, and maybe some things that might have been better left unsaid, but at the end of the day, no one's perfect and we all say and do things that others find offensive or or just plain mean.
Speaking for myself, I've noticed a big difference in your fb posts over the last few months. Whatever has caused you to think you need to make changes, I hope it's for the right reasons, and not just because someone else is making you feel less about yourself.
