Damn work...anyways, Moose!
I saw a documentary once about an earnest Canadian woman named Giselle who studied moose. She would go out into the field and mimic their antler antics, commune with them. It was strange, wonderous and yet hilarious to watch. |

Thank you, novice, for your kind offer. If I ever move to a big enough place for adding a collection of roos, I'll let you know.

Giselle thought so, not sure how the moose felt about it. |

Books - specifically on:
* vampires (fic and non-fic, though I had to slow down on fic when they became much too friggin' popular) * Sherlock Holmes * fairy-fantasy (Charles de Lint & Co) Bats. And (sporadically) carnivorous plants. |

Why old tassels?
Hmmmmm.good question. My favorite ones are from India. 1. They are beautiful. 2. Many are of cool, complex construction. 3. They move. 4. They are unappologetic ornament. And I agree that bats are cool. I have a bat house, empty though. Fraid my property is too open to draw any inhabitants. Maybe...this year. I can no longer spell....well, never could actually.
