I, too, have a beret but I only wear it when seducing Presidents. Thanks, Monica!

HELLEAUX? How could anyone possibly hate the French? For god's sake, if it wasn't for them where would we get french maid's outfits from? The Japanese? Oh please.

you have a point there, foot^3....if we start getting our sexual proclivities from the japanese in greater volume than we already do, we're in for some trouble. That being said, I think the reason that a lot of the people who hate the French do (and remember that the phrase "cheese-eating surrender monkeys" has been around since long befor ethe Iraq fiasco) is because they are just as arrogant as we are. Americans know their country is the greatest on earth, their culture is the most sophisticated, and their technology has contributed the most to the world. So do the French. Obviously, this is the type of thing that will lead to problems...

Yes, indeed. You may thank my Swiss ancestors for all the extra pounds on your hip after you eat a fondue!

Talking

I have researched this Fondue phenomenon and wasn't totally mislead by those French Fondue houses....Original Fondue apparently is Swiss.(cheese sauces) The French later (mid 1900's) began to use chocolate then oil as fondue sauces. O.K. that was a little more research than I wanted to do on Fondue but it's alllright.
