Paul Young....most all, esp. 'Oh Girl'. ..Simply Red's version of 'If You Don't Know Me By Now'......

And oh yes......Pink Floyd. Everything from 'Wish You Were Here' back. The 70's rule for me.

Good call! I've heard people who clamed everything in the 70s was disco or just crap. Evidently they haven't heard of Floyd, The Who (Who's Next, Who By Numbers, Who are You) Bruce Springsteen (Born to Run, Darkness on the Edge of Town) Jethro Tull (Aqualung, Passion Play) Led Zeppelin (everything from III on) Bob Dylan (Blood on the Tracks, Desire, Street Legal), Patti Smith (Horses, Radio Ethopia, Easter), Bob Seger (Live Bullet, Night Moves, Stranger in Town), etc.

Paul Simon was the greatest concert experience of my life. Ok, Neil was very, very close, but there's something about Paul that I just really dig.

The Jam, The Clash, Paul Weller, Coldplay - always put me at peace... a distinct British flair to my selections as well.

Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt, Nick Cave's 'The Weeping Song', Nick Cave's "As I Sat Sadly By Her Side', Johnny Cash's 'Mercy Seat', The Cranberry's 'Zombie', Death Cab For Cutie's 'Styrofoam Plates'.. I know there's more, but I can't htink of them right now.
