I'm not thankful for hips that hurt like hell most of the time, BUT, I am thankful that I have two legs and can walk.

I'm not thankful for my thinning hair, either, BUT, I am thankful that I'm not bald from chemo cuz I'm dying of cancer.

I'm not thankful for all the absolute assholes that I encounter in life, BUT, I am thankful for the very few really good friends I have filtered out of those assholes.

It's how ya think about it, sometimes, people.
