I have to agree with Merc. It looks like a nicked copper wire. If it was black around the area, I might say it was a spot on a wire where a short had occured, but it really looks more like a nick.

Glatt and Merc are close enough ,
it is a pic of a rubbed hole in a copper hydrolic line , 2-3 other tech looked for 2 day for it , I found it in about 30 minuets , To show how small it is the ruler is a 6" scale 1/32' on top 1/64' on the bottom .
