I recently missed the opportunity to name our cat 'Grimley' I regret this. perhaps you could use that, and I could take some vicarious joy in it.

'tis true, Jinx. Not all of them, but they all enjoy water to differing degrees.

This morning I had a visitor in the shower, some will paddle and play in water bowls, others will paddle in a creek or stream.

I kinda like Grimley too...will see what the kids think.

@Sky....I came home to find a near dead Gizmo, by her symptons....I thought snake bite, but the snakes locally will kill a cat in a few minutes. I didnt take her to the vets straight away, because I believed it was snake bite Giz lasted over half an hour before I took her to the vets. We found a bite mark, which when shaved and swabbed....turned out to be a Red Back Spider, which can be deadly to humans.

I like Grimley too - especially because it's shortened to Grim, which strikes me as funny
However why not stick with Danny Boy?

you read my mind, you gorgeous creature.

I do like Grimley though.

If I ever get matching cats I have a few names picked out:
Tate and Lyle (winter bee food) or Tea and Crumpet or George and Clooney...

A friend of mine named his cat Catastrophe. Cute, huh?

Kitty number 2

Tabitha was adopted last winter. She was living with her siblings on a porch in a box in 20 degree weather. They were next door to a friend and she knew I wanted a tortoiseshell kitty. I couldn't resist even though she wasn't exactly the color pattern I wanted. She proceeded to give me ringworm, which I passed to my husband and all the other pets. So our free kitty cost us over 100.00 in medical treatment including having to have liver tests because of the meds we had to take.
Oh pets bring us such joy.

Last of the mammals

This is Darby my Papillion mix. I got him in February from an animal control near my home. He was found running loose and no one claimed him. He is quite smart. He gets along great with Dazzle my remaining Yorkie. She was a breeder rescue and was passed along to me to keep my other Yorkie Sami company. My ex has her now .

They are dressed in cold weather gear and their matching raincoats. We were at an Earth day bon fire.

I'm completely head over heels for DucksNuts new kitty! What a beauty.

I wouldn't be surprised if he can swim. I never knew tigers could swim, and very well, until I read The Life Of Pi. If Richard Parker can do it, that little cutie can.

My son's new dog, a cross between a chihuahua and a jack russell - he has a novel way of carrying around his toy duck - for some reason he keeps bumping into things...

Which one Cloud? We have been trying to figure out what Darby is mixed with.

I noticed when the dog picture posted that Sami is in it as well-- under the other two and on the left side of the picture.
