Starting to help cook today. Mom likes to get the run-on so she can kick back a bit on Thursday. I am the official..'Hey honey, can you run to the store and get.....' "it" girl. So far I only have two trips under my belt. But I love it!

Taylor (will be 18 in Feb) has been busy with football and now basketballl---he's played all four high school years (is, in fact, capt of the football team and I only get to see him about once a month. He is looking to go to college in my town (University of Dayton) next year which would be great!

I am feeling better than usual for a chemo week. They put some extra dexamethasone in my IV so I don't hurt so bad. Just having some real hot flashes ("chemo flush") at the moment. I am just looking so forward to seeing my son when he's NOT in a football uniform!

Guests are gone, the few hangerons helped clean up and put things back in order. Now I am laying back and watching Mizzoo beak Kansas while drinkng a nice bottle of South African wine! (I hope)

Hope everybody had a happy holiday, including our former colonial brothers and sisters.
