Don't even mention AudioGalaxy in the same breath as you amateurs. None of you pansies ever got a tattoo of your website.

Oh man. I'm almost at a loss for words as to how to describe that. Makes me want to make an Encyclopedia Dramatica article especially for them.

If they don't already have one, which is entirely likely.

I only got drips and drabs of this whole tempest. I am an island unto myself even on a board of islanders. If this place was Gilligan's Island, I'd be on the Other Side of the Island - with the cannibals.

Bruce, that picture is awesome. I think I'm going to start telling people that.

We have some Dwellars whose origins I have never determined who have a far brasher and ruder style than I am comfortable with. But are deemed acceptable and even amusing.

I feared Tiki was going to be one of them.
I was selfishly and sneakily relieved when other people noticed too (I had her pegged when she dissed UT).

Then again, I don't even see the Cellar as my local neighbourhood bar.
I see it as my local Englisshe Tea Shoppe, all cream scones and strychnine in the jam and don't trust the natives or startle the horses.
Tea and shibboleths, anyone?
Beneath this liberal exterior beats the heart of a true daughter of the Empire, xenophobic and reactionary and no that's not raspberry sorbet I really do have blood on my chin...

Just sayin'
Just because I'm nominally polite, does not make me a pussy.

It isn't about feeling all hurt and wounded Toad. It's about not wanting someone smearing shit on the walls or rolling in drunk and picking fights with the locals. Sure, we can handle it if we have to. But we don't necessarily want to.

I haven't messed with it much, I'll admit.

Thanks for the info!

You seem a very reasonable chap Kali.
IMO Tiki was too agressive/ tightly wound for this forum.
I know as soon as I dipped my toe into yours that I wouldn't fit.
I would not expect someone from here to defend me if I'd tried to shoehorn my way in.

This joker (Arafelis) aside, we're best not to assume there's a common link between two VERY different forums, surely?

ETA - I was referring to TGGR's rude comments re spotty bots.

Thank you. Maybe, she is fairly aggressive as a person, but I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing.

Well, Arafelis seems to think our forums are more similar than not...but his judgement doesn't exactly seem to be firm at the moment, does it?

Our forum moves much more s.l.o.w.l.y. than yours.
And is much less personal.

You can come here and critique every single post you don't like.
Quickly.
Although "we" were denigrated for that on "your" forum.

Or you can assess the overall mood and respond then.

Or you can decide we're a slow bunch of lamers you should never have got involved with.

Or whatever.
I just think it's unlikely you will stick around because you have commitments in a place you feel at home in. And it's sort of a shame. Because we like articulate, intelligent people. Well, I do, anyway, and that's all I can say.

But if you're here to pick, it just doesn't benefit anyone. We could go to PD and do the same thing - but why, when it's not the place we want ot be?

Well this is my style of posting. I like to deal with people as individuals, on a one to one basis. It might look like nitpicking, but its a structured way to deal with multiple people, I find.

I have posted here constructively before, but honestly I don't have much time, partly due to my commitments elsewhere and due to work. When I have the time, I pop in and comment on what I find interesting, but that aside...yeah.

So, where exactly in the UK do you live, K?

If you really live there. Hmmm? Hmmmm?

Seriously, I'm starting to think all these people are here and there the same people, mixed in with other previous people.

A response to this comment would be nice, but never mind, just ignore
me.

I read a comment (at PD) regarding that user (too lazy to look up right now, Applesasselfassel or whatever) and someone at PD was saying he had the same IP as someone from the Cellar who was previously Red Shirt Reilly on PD.

Just puttin' some info out there, my investigation had been cursory, and out of curiosity. I wouldn't know how to find an IP address if it bit me on the leg.

I would, however, be interested in who the big fat liar is. I hate liars. Pet peeve of mine. Sure would want to know WHO ELSE not to trust.
This whole "fake user" crap is really starting to piss me off. I thought I didn't have a life; I pale in comparison.

Mods, UT? Let us in, who are the frucking fakes? Who is the same as who? Who is stirring shit pretending to be someone else.

Jesus fucking Christ in a fucking bucket.
