Ah thinking back on cartoons of the 70's......

Speed Racer (Speed, Trixie, Spritle and Chim Chim)
....That in itself is a joke waiting for this board.

Aqua-man and Aqua boy? (rode around on sea horses?)

Space Ghost

Huckleberry Hound, EL-KaBONG (I mean HELLO), Snagglepus, Precious Pup

Josie and the Pussy Cats

Grape Ape

Magilla Gorilla (Gorilla Biscuits)

HR Puffenstuff.....(Puffen WHAT stuff?)

The Banana Splits (Fleagle, Drooper, Snorkey, and the Orangutang)

Look at the names.....I Think the creators were all smoking 'something' when they named these shows....

Even Romper Room......had the Do-bee.......

Not to mention Spinner and Paddlefoot.

And Scott McCloud, Crystal and Taurus... Space Angel used the same technique.

Thunderbirds Are Go!!

Indeed Thrillhouse, I watched Lance Link and loved his band, the Evolution Revolution; perhaps one of the best bands ever! And Thunderbirds were awesome, if a bit overwrought. Sometimes they would get a little carried away with filming their creations, like having a 3-minute sequence of a hole-boring machine (ok guys, cut to the next scene!). Marionation? Anyway, you gotta love Parker and Stone's homage to the Birds in Team America: World Police (I especially enjoyed the extended barfing scene).
