Grey Gardens...anyone catch it?
Years ago I vaguely recall my mother telling me what a "shame" it was about Edith Beale and how she lived, a recluse in a falling-down palace in the Hamptons; how she had "rich family" that wouldn't help her.
I've been googling the Big and Little Edie Bouvier Beale, seeing their manse (Grey Gardens) and Little Edie's most definite fashion style. (actually, she was doin' it right).
anyone see the HBO movie with Drew Barrymore? If you did, what'd you think?
