Oldest woman in the world dies

She was 113. The moment she dies, of course, she is no longer the oldest woman in the world. What if you were second oldest... you'd be hoping you could hang in there to get the title. But who's tracking these things, anyway? |

OK, for American readers ... she was the oldest person in the world. For the rest of the world ... it's this Japanese woman, now 115. Quote:

				Toad!

It's so unlike you not to give a cite... The former second oldest is now the oldest, no matter what the age, if it can be documented in any event. There may be a 140 year old dude alive in Tibet for all we know. We really have no way of knowing for sure what the longest any person has ever lived. It's just nice to still be in the running |
