September 26, 2012 - Volcanic Iceland
 At first glance, I thought this was a painting. I was surprised to find that this is an aerial photograph of a river flowing through volcanic ash.  Iceland has at least 30 active volcanic systems. That's a lot of lava flows to shoot! by Andre Ermolaev |
