We generally get a few or more median/highway grass fires (some big) each summer from discarded firey butts.

This is off the smoking topic but I just had to write a nasty- note. My hand is usually not forced until it comes to something I just realized is a knee- jerk reaction for me. People that are ridiculously self- complimentary. Do people really get to make assumptions about how I feel? StUpiD.

Outside of all of you being in love with me.....it doesn't usually work.

If I'm doing a full field stripping I actually separate the filter from the paper, roll the paper into a little ball, and shred the filter.

I usually don't have to take it that far.

The problem with field stripping a smoke is that if you have to put the butt pack into the pack, it ruins the flavor of the rest of the cigarettes. For those four of us who actually enjoy the taste of tobacco, this is an issue. Hence, why I purchased a cigarette case...smokes go in the case and, if necessary, butts go into the empty box pack that I carry with me. That, and cases are so 50s-cool that I absolutely have to have one, so I found one with a pin-up girl being hit on by a genetic mixture of Saddam Hussein and Josef Stalin. Film at 11, when I get home from work and can be bothered to look for my digital camera.
