Thank you mrnoodle, I think so too (natural smilie color) I endorse Kohl's, the only place where new name brand jeans can be bought for less than $20. And Goodwill, where you never know what you will find (I usually shop for books there). As for clothing brands, I never quite understood the idea that you pay much to wear Mudd across your tits, shouldn't they be paying you???

I usually wear make-up when I go out and I prefer cream blush to the dry powder kind (goes on more smoothly for a natural look).

It is quite the Politically Correct thing to say "I like no makeup". In fact, done right, a girl with makeup will turn heads.

It is well known in marketing that people will say things in answering survey questions, yet they will act differently. Two years ago, a company found that people said they would be more likely to click on unobtrusive text ads than more prominant attention-grabbing text ads. The same people clicked on ads at over twice the rate at Ask Jeeves (prominant) than at Google (unobtrusive).

In fact, done wrong, a girl with makeup will turn stomachs. It's not the makeup, it's the girl.

I'll go one step further. It's not the girl as much as it is the perception of the girl that matters more, at the ranges at which makeup has an influence, but before other forces come into play (social interaction, physical interaction)

Makeup is important, like a good cover letter. But it's limited.

But wrt your point about makeup, it's a lot easier to do poorly than it is to do well, and perhaps for those "liars" that said they like no makeup, it's certainly possible that the "no makeup look" they say they like may well be makeup applied so skillfully that it is invisible. At least they can't see the makeup they're looking at, imagining (perceiving) the beauty to be all girl and no makeup.
