Regarding new music, my current fave in youth oriented rock is Jet. These kids are bringing back what rock is all about, raw, raucous fun! Somewhat rebelious, great sound, great writing, love 'em.

Classic Rock Rules?
There were no rules to classic rock, that's what made it good.
Oh, wait, you meant something different, didn't you.

Well, Wolf,
After some serious cogitation, I suppose there were "rules" early in the game, created by record company executives and radio station programmers/ managers. Their rules, to a degree, are still in force. Then came the likes of Beck, Page, Townsend, Lennon & McCartney, Hendrix and their ilk, and they DIDN'T PLAY FAIR! They broke the rules, changed the rules and made up their own rules. Thank God for the rebels of rock.
