The Direct Line "That's better" ads
Individually they aren't that bad, it's just that they're on every advert break and it's the same thing over and over. "People" coming up with gripes about their insurance and voiceover man saying how Direct Line doesn't do that. And the food-as-porn M&S ads The first one was a great advert. That was over 2 years ago - get a new style! Even the youtube spoofs annoy me - it's just too easy

I like the new spot for the Law & Order on USA, where they are trying to "detect" the USA network logo on the screen. cute.

I used to rate bad commercials on a scale of one to three rubber darts -- to be shot at the screen while they're playing. Now we have Mute buttons.

I'm sure there was a "Commercials You Love" thread, but damned if I can find it. So I'm posting these two here as one's just come on.
They're not all that rare, but no-one seems to get why I sometimes say, "milk" as, "MILK, MIII-IIILK!" Well it amuses me anyway. |

I don't like that deodorant commercial with the too-perky brunette saluting everyone to show off her pits.
But I'm so glad to see Mr. Bill resurrected. Oh, Noooooooooo!

Smilin' Bob.
Actually any "ED" product. Viva Viagra. Ew. My kids do not need to see this shit during normal TV viewing hours. Other commercials that annoy me are those computer-animated ones like "The General" (car insurance) etc. or there's another with a fox trying to lure people into easy money by starting their own Internet Business ("I made $2800 in just one week, working part time at home!" yeah, right.) |

I hate this commercial. Raise your hand if you think Steve should 1) grow a pair and 2) Reply that the box says "you're a whiny nagging bitch who should probably get some kind of life if my comment on your cereal is going to fuck up your whole opinion of yourself."

It turns out to be a British commercial that was re-voiced for the US.
