That he left isn't in dispute, thus doesn't need to be proven or disproven.
What "we think" can't be "proven" because it isn't a concrete attribute.

The actual subject of the sentence is why he left--stated as he left because.

"I have proof" ...of what? Of why he left. I have proof he left because we think X.

Obvioulsy he doesn't know what we think, but the substitue when determining his motivations would be what he thinks we think. We can't know what he thinks, unless we have a statement by him as confirmation, thus proof of what he thinks about what we think, i.e. why he left. Simple.

Thats too bad - I thought he was coming around too. Oh well if thats what he wants then why doesn't he just not post instead of being banned - I don't get it. Unless someone else, using his address, asked for the banning. Perhaps it wasn't really him. I've had my email address "stolen."

Judging by the many "Message undeliverable" in my Junk folder the other week, I've had my email address stolen too. But I expect it was by a spambot, rather than someone out to wreak havoc in my online social life.

I'd like to think people would realise fout or five posts in that someone was using my log-in.

So, the remarks made by lumberjim are a very serious allegation, indeed, they amount to a criminal accusation. This is practically indistinguishable from what I've read about witch trials.
