for what it's worth... mrs. and I had a nice quiet weekend in England afterall...
if you don't count the numerous frantic calls back to the states for "Irene" updates and calls back here ( Geneva ) for bomb-blast updates.... ... very happy to report everyone I know in both locations is safe ( if a bit soggy ) in fact I didn't personally know anyone killed / injured in Nigeria but a close friend who works tele-comms was there about two months ago still tho we hate to hear when anyone in the "UN-family" falls into harms way. |
