Wow. That subject seems rather familiar. Damn censorship advocates.

I checked out a handful of threads on that site. Based on that sample, we really are much better here.

1) We were created by Jehovah God, who gave us absolute dominion over all the animals. Bang! Dinner!

2) We evolved side-by-side with the deer, and are therefore their contemporaries. This means that no one was anywhere before anyone else. What, do you think indigenous peoples didn't like a venison haunch every now and again?

Now, if one chooses to be fuzzy-squishy, and not kill or eat deer (etc), then great, that is an individual choice. However, I have to balk at the notion that those who choose to hunt and consume the critters are somehow *wrong*. Also, if we have allowed the population to get out of hand so that we can't help but run over them with our cars, we are also doing them a disservice, but I'm not volunteering to be the one to insert Depo subcutaneous devices to keep them from reproducing.

I could give a Cellarite a user name and they could see what they could do.

That General discussion board is what is left of AG.
I've been there 7 years and only started posting on it the last 2.
AG began as a satelite music sharring community based on Groups.
Groups which are closed boards where there's an owner & operators.
The serious groups, usually based on specific artists, were of an intelectual level.
They have basically become a thing of the past, but for the majority of time AG was running, the closed groups were the thing.

Since I've been peeking in now and then on the banter that was taking place sometime ago, I decided to look. A thread about The Cellar? Some actual discussion on a community from an outside perspective? I was curious! What I found some unrelated cut-n-paste novel followed up with these truly insightful replies:

Quote:
04/11/06 i'm cooking rice

04/11/06 flied lice?

04/11/06 sounds good

04/11/06 Want me to hum a few bars?
At least one reply made sense. Not only that, but it mirrored the question I repeatedly asked myself as I thumbed through the neighboring posts:

What was the purpose of this thread btw?
