I have Eva's Songbird CD. I love every single recording on it. I could easily vote her as best songstress ever.

An amazing songstress and what a range....blues, jazz, gospel, pop, standards, folk...

I saw Eva twice before she died...Blues Alley in DC and Mick Fleetwood's club in Va.

What a shame she wasnt widely known or appreciated until well after her death.

I was cleaning out my basement and found some boxes that I haven't been into for many years. One had a bunch of old dead tapes... spent an hour hooking up a tape player to the receiver and the old speakers... time was not kind to the tapes at all
