In D&D, you have complete control over your Player Character's actions.

In FF, you have no control over the actions of the team members.

There are other obvious differences, but I believe that one is the most substantial.

If you're building a team of characters, to compete in imaginary battle, based on statistical attributes, then you're playing D&D.

Jocks are supposed to hate Nerds (according to Homer) so I don't know what to make of this.

And, we're all way fucking cooler as a whole than any group that plays D&D. No offense to those folks...it just is.

Looks like the Lumberjim family had the closest games this week. Jim and I were close...it was literally down to the wire last night, but the Sycamores prevailed over the Bullies 87-84. Jinx and the Girls kept it close as well, but Ep and the Vacancies eked out a 124-121 win, thanks to a huge day from the Vikings' defense.

FINE... But I'm not telling you who I picked up, so maybe I won't get ganked out of my selection this week by another team. :P

I'm looking for Randal El to put up career numbers tonight... good thing my real life team is kicking butt!

Any defensive issues in Cleveland and Cincinatti?
