Happy B-Day Dana and Mrs. Z!

Dana hope you get to spend the day doing nothing with Pilau - maybe this calls for a Dr. Who Marathon eating popcorn.

Thanks all

Well...the council meeting last night was blessedly short. A record short for budget council. Was home for 9ish. Today, went off to the 3pm sitting of the planning committee and instead of just about scraping in under the door of teatime, we were done with the afternoon's business by 4pm. Boded well. In the end the evening sitting was over by a little after 8pm.

So...I am now at home. Alas, I am sans Pilau for the night. He was callously abandoned into Mum's house prior to the meeting in case of a late finish. Same happened last night. I've actually only seen him for a couple of hours today. The road's a bit too icy for mum to be risking the drive up and I don't fancy walking down the hill then back up again to go get him.

When I see him tomorrow he'll be dead excited. He'll be wagging his tail and making happy noises and then after about a minute and a half of this he'll go get on the sofa and completely ignore me :P He's so funny. Sometimes he turns his head away just to underline the point hehehehe.

But anyhoo. I am home. I am warm. I have a bunch of stuff to watch and though i have stuff to do tomorrow, i don't have to be up early

Now; am off to youtube to scout out Charlie Brooker stuff. Am considering revisiting Dead Set, once I've rewatched all 5 series of Screenwipe and both series of Newswipe.

Impossible to get Dead Set official trailers and clips on youtube outside of the uk (I think) so, here's a fan trailer of Charlie Brooker's 'Dead Set'. I watched it when it aired last year....was it last year? Might have been the year before, dunno. Five episodes across five nights, ending on the night of Halloween. What you don't get from this clip is the witty and clever writing. It has a dark humour. Proper schlock horror. Basic zombie outbreak premise. The contestants in the Big Brother House are in the only safe place. And the end of the world starts on eviction night.

If you have children with you it would probably not be a good idea to watch this clip :P

It's your Birthday...It's your Birthday!

and wow you look great! I thought you were 28

Happy Birthday to everyone else I might have missed.
I just happened to be passing by and saw it was Dana's otherwise I would have missed hers too.

I think it was the #38 that gave me pause.

Apparently Dar and Pete Zicato both turned 56 today! I wonder if they are twins separated at birth?
