Oh gosh...funny you asked.
Brother's farm cats did indeed have kittens. Darling little things. The mom is a very friendly cat. But still, I'm not ready. As much as I want a cat I want to be sure I'm ready for that cat's lifetime commitment. As it is, I'm home so little. Cats don't need tons of attention but I'd hate to leave it alone for all the time I'm gone. And the little things: will it be a barfer? Will it be weird about the litter box? I guess I'm not ready. I'm not one who could ever give away a pet I took on, even if it became the height of inconvenience. I would have to love it. And I'm not sure I'm there yet. Thanks for asking. I've thought a lot about it lately.

Not to mention I know 3 dogs IRL that I want to steal. My friend K will NOT let me steal her black lab. He's a majestic creature. I kid about stealing him every time I'm there.
