I think about that too, Infini--- if someone keels over or gets put in the pokey (more likely) or taken aboard an alien ship....how will we know?

I would give just about anything to be taken aboard an alien space ship. I would find a way to let you know. Watch the night sky.
I think many of us have SOMEONE in our life, either here or "RL" who would know if something happened to us and would let the Cellar know. I urge those who don't to ask someone to let the Cellar know in case of alien shenanigans and whatnot. No, I don't care. Really, I don't care at all. About anyone. Except I do.

You can't trust FB or the news to get things right. CNN once reported I was dead in a police shooting incident.
