Think back....this type of wacko shit has been going on since....forever.

The difference now is we're on edge since W took over. It used to be things like this would be at the end of the newscast to end on a lighter note. The talking head might even roll his eyes or chuckle.
Because of the evolution/creation in schools, and some other initiatives, we are looking for warning signs of the next battle instead of being amused.
