I KNOW I would get some response doing that...unfortunately (or fortunately) I don't have internet at home right now! For some reason they don't like me to drink here (bastards!)

I have a lurk here most days, but unless I've got something to say...

Having said that, I do feel a long, pointless, bandwith wasting rant coming on. It's been building up for days.

No ashke, it's like pro sports. You can enjoy watching, but it's better to be playing, for the big bucks!

By the way, I wish you would cash the eighty-odd posting payment checks, so we can balance the checking account.

I tried that. People kept typing, in all caps "PUT IT ON. PUT IT ALL ON" while sending pictures of dollar bills. Didn't do much for my ego.

I lurked for a long time (around a year?) before I finally signed up. Part of the reason was someone from work showed me the site and I didn't want to say anything too personal for him to read. That would have been strange... he was basically my boss at the time. Then I moved to another branch where I work and I thought I could get away with it.

Part of the reason I lurk most of the time is that I don't feel like what I have to say really adds to the thread. So rather then just post for postings sake I wait until I have something meaningful to say. At least most of the time... :p Besides, everyone here on the cellar is so witty it is intimidating sometimes. And I don't want to be shunned, I love it here too much!

There are probably many reasons why different people lurk. Those are just my reasons. Hee hee...

Speaking of which(whom?), when she first arrived she sent me a PM asking how to post a picture. I responded with a detailed, step-by-step, instruction....no problem. I have trouble following some of the descriptions in computer stuff myself. But when she responded with "I hate reading instruction manuals and love to go by trial and error...LOL", I suspected she was one of those selfish people that don't care how difficult she makes it for the people trying to follow threads or check what's new. I was right.
Accusing people of not having a sense of humor, when her sense of humor is always at someone else's expense.

[edit] I just found the related posts. Nevermind.

[confession] I DID GO TO THE COMMUNITY LIBRARY A COUPLE OF TIMES AND USED A PUBLIC COMPUTER THERE TO LURK A BIT. JUST BECAUSE I MISSED YOU ALL.
