They could have said a hellofalotmore. You know how much power it takes to move something that size underwater? I would bet at least a 100hp possibly 300. How was this accomplished?
I also agree with the 6 foot comment. How would raise and lower those snorkels without myriad <bad> leaks... A 2 inch hole about three feet below the surface lets in 136 gallons a minute. I bet that sucker would go permanently negative buoyant<sink> in about 5 seconds. The mysteries abound. |
