That is great! I bet they have a great time. Sometimes I wonder if my mom's puppy misses her brothers or sisters, though she plays with me like I'm one of them.

Today's walk saw even worse weather Or better, depending how you look at it. I love windy, squally weather, when the air fizzes with ozone and the wind steals your breath and whips the trees ragged. The first picture is without flash, to show how dark it is (only about 3pm) the second is with flash, but I just love how far over the tree is bent:P

We were hit by this as well - I was just glad I didn't have my camera with me because my bag was soaked all the way through. As was I and every single item of clothing I was wearing. At one point I had to hold my hand up to shield my eyes - the rain was coming down so hard I couldn't see.

I walked in - picking a bad day to start a healthy habit. I walk in downhill, along a pedestrian walk, and it was running with rainwater like the Zambezi. I swear I expected a party of mice to shoot past, white water rafting on a polystyrene chip tray.

Funnily enough I'm getting the bus home.

So once you got to work, did you use every paper towel in the office to try to dry yourself off? I have one or maybe two days a year like that.

I did for my face and chest, then I went and stood under the hot air dryer in the Ladies for a while.

I also padded round in my tights (pantyhose) until my feet dried out. I made a conscious decision to wear my Crocs in today, and these were easily dried inside & out with towels.

My feet are pretty toxic, and I figured that if I had to dry out normal wet shoes the whole floor would need medical treatment...

That's one hell of a flash, to turn the sky blue and the distant hill green.
I posted a couple pictures of the flooding in IOtD.
