I think you are right there, Aliantha. With so much going on at the moment the mind hasn't yet thought to deal with this issue, and I can see that a few weeks (maybe months) down the road it will raise its head. It's not something I would think could be passed over, just a case of knowing it will happen but when is not something that can be predicted.
At the moment it's all pain and the frustration of having life constrained - something, in a way, that's easier to handle mentally - you want to stop one and get on with the other. But I can see that once this stage is passed the mind will naturally start considering the various other implications of what has happened, and work its way through them all.

Well, it seems your wife is very lucky to have a man like you to help her through this one. I have little doubt that whatever happens you'll smooth the way for her.
Keep up the good work. ![]()

In the days following Selene's procedure, I found that being a loving and comforting mate was the best medicine. She'd had a rather difficult few months leading up to it, and she'd earned a bit of R&R.
Post surgical weakness and weariness is a bitch, but it usually passes fairly quickly. Best to both of you!

I'm late to the party, but glad to hear all is well, cf. I am, however, a Little disappointed in you....blaming her blood pressure problems on her family. tsk tsk.

What, me? cause high BP? Me? Well, OK, maybe a teensy bit.
Glad to report that Mrs CF continues to make good progress - she's a determined little lady!

Glad to hear all is well. It took my wife a good two weeks for full recovery from her hysterectomy. Be patient. One day she will look back and say, "I should have done that a long time ago." And the absolute best part for her, no more periods.
