I still think it's funny that Bon Scott died and they found a singer exactly like him to replace him. Basically a screaming toad. (No relation.)

![]() While AC/DC do indeed recycle music, no one else in my opinion does 3-chord rock better. We merely have differing opinions on AC/DC and Radiohead, and I'm sure that there are other bands we agree on, like NIN or FNM.

Good replacements Brian Johnson (AC/DC) John Bush (Anthrax) Sammy Hagar (Van Halen): Yeah, this one is arguable, but many fans were cool with it. Jeff Broadnax (24-7 Spyz) Mike Patton (Faith No More) Ronnie Van Zant's brother (Lynyrd Skynyrd) Bands that can switch off lead singers with ease Jerry Cantrell and Layne Staley (RIP) (Alice in Chains) Dave Gahan and Martin Gore (Depeche Mode) Doug Pinnick and Ty Tabor (King's X) Bad replacements John Corabi (Motley Crue) Gary Cherone (Van Halen) The replacement for Brad Delp (Boston) The replacement for Glenn Danzig (Misfits) The replacement for Dennis DeYoung (Styx) The replacement for Rob Halford (Judas Priest) |
