Met him once when he did an autograph session at the book store where i worked. He was very nice.

Very cool brush with greatness, Shel. I looked him up in wikipedia and found this paragraph which made me giggle.

I had this argument with a buddy of mine.

His logic - "Well, they didn't exactly have a Home Depot, now, did they?"

My response - "What? Are you a complete ass? They had an island full of those big wooden things called trees! What was the boat made from? TREES!!! Here's a thought! Cut 'em down and FIX THE FUCKING BOAT!!!"
